Rossa Roslaina Sri Handayani, known mononymously as Rossa, also known as Te' Ocha a.k.a. Teteh Ocha by fans in Indonesia or Dato' Rossa Roslaina[2] in Malaysia (born October 9, 1978, in Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia), is an Indonesian singer and businesswoman.[3] She remains one of the most popular artists in Indonesia and Malay-speaking countries,[4] and one of the best selling Indonesian artist based on album sales which has sold over 10 million copies in the region.
Her second compilation album, The Best of Rossa, ranked 10th on the List of Indonesian all time best selling albums. Rossa and Faizal Tahir performing during 16th Anugerah Industri Muzik at Dewan Merdeka, Putra World Trade Centre. Rossa started singing at ten years old when she released her first ever album, Untuk Sahabatku in 1988.[4] This children's album was produced by Dian Records. However, the album failed to gain attention.
